Havana, Cuba, Sep 8 (ACN) Armando Garrido Beracierto, president of MediCuba, leads the Cuban delegation attending the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry Exhibition, IPHEX 2025, considered the largest platform for the sector in that Asian country.
According to the Cuban Foreign Ministry, during the event, held in New Delhi, representatives from Cuba held meetings with leading institutions and companies in the healthcare, biopharmaceutical, and medical equipment sectors, with the aim of exploring opportunities for bilateral collaboration.
The discussions focused on technological exchange, joint research, and access to new markets for Cuban products.
As part of the program, the delegation met with the National Committee of Solidarity with Cuba, which they thanked for its recent fundraising campaign to support the Cuban healthcare system, a gesture that reaffirms the ties of friendship between the two countries.
Participation in IPHEX 2025 is part of the Cuban biopharmaceutical industry's internationalization strategy, which seeks to expand its presence in Asia and consolidate strategic alliances in the context of global health challenges.
