Havana, April 21 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel opened the 5th Cuba Salud 2025 International Health Conference, at Havana’s Conventions Palace.
The head of state toured a trade exhibit part of the forum accompanied by Parliament President Esteban Lazo, Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, and Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez.
The exhibit displays health technologies based on the advancement and results of the application of science, innovation and technology in the field of health.
More than five thousand professionals and directives are participating at the conference either virtually or in person, representing 88 countries. Also at hand are 16 health ministers, with China as guest of honor.
Participants will discuss issues relevant to public health management models at global, regional and local level, as well as the strengthening of health systems in the post-COVID 19 stage.
