HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 7 (ACN) The second day of the meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) began today to deepen the attention to the population and analyze tasks being developed in the sector.
The meeting was chaired by Jose Portal Miranda, minister of MINSAP, deputy ministers, members of the Board of Directors and directors of national subordinate departments.
Portal Miranda called to work more efficiently in favor of the people and stressed that the sector presents a great commitment in this 2025, according to the situation that the country is going through due to the tightening of the US blockade against Cuba, the ministry said on X.
Dr. Tania Cruz, first deputy minister of MINSAP, explained the work projections in important areas such as communication, health, safety and security, medical collaboration, care for the population, among others.
