HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 15 (ACN) President Miguel Díaz-Canel attended the national ceremony to commemorate Cuban Science Day in Cuba, in which he presented the Institute of Meteorology with the Labor Achievement banner on account of the entity’s outstanding results in the study of weather events.
The ceremony also included honorary mentions commending several provinces that excelled in scientific, technological and innovation management, as well as staff members of the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment and workers who achieved outstanding results.
Furthermore, the President led the inauguration of the fair Innovation for Development, intended to showcase the best results and promote important projects designed to find innovative solutions to national priorities.
