HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 13 (ACN) The Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology (EIMB), of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), and the Immunoassay Center of the Group of Cuban biotechnological and pharmaceutical industries, Biocubafarma, signed on Sunday a cooperation agreement for scientific research.
This agreement is focused on obtaining products that are priorities for public health in both countries, according to information on Biocubafarma's Facebook profile.
The source stresses that the agreement will also favor the institutional development processes of the Group's Immunoassay Center of the Cuban biotechnological and pharmaceutical industries.
Biocubafarma is a business group founded on November 27, 2012 by the Council of Ministers of Cuba with the objective of producing medicines, equipment and high-tech services aimed at improving the health of the Cuban people and the generation of exportable goods and services, as a result of the technical scientific development achieved by the Caribbean island.
