Havana, Nov 5 (ACN) Cuban and Chinese authorities reiterated on Tuesday their willingness to deepen cooperation in the health sector, which counts on huge potential for development, according to the Cuban Health Ministry.
The news came out of a meeting in Havana between Cuban deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas and the head of China’s National Health Commission, doctor Lei Haichao, who is on an official visit to Cuba.
During the meeting, Cabrisas thanked China for its cooperation in several sectors, particularly the commercial field, PL news reported.
Present at the talks was Cuban health Minister Jose Angel Portal and the delegation accompanying Lei Haichao, as well as Chinese ambassador to Havana Hua Xin.
