Cuba markets new medicine in suspension form

HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 27 (ACN) Abexol, a natural product in suspension form, is available for the first time in Cuban pharmacies and other outlets.

Developed jointly by Havana’s National Center for Scientific Research (CNIC) and the enterprise Medilip (Pharmaceutical Laboratory of Oral Liquids) in the province of Granma, Abexol is registered as an antioxidant nutritional supplement that favors digestion.

Medilip director Efrén Rodríguez Lora remarked that the first stage of the marketing process will take place in the province of Granma and through CNIC store in Havana before it is made gradually available nationwide pending increased production levels.

Based on a purified mixture of fatty alcohols extracted from beeswax, easier-to-swallow Abexol boasts faster and stronger antioxidant effects than pills.
