Cuban academics exchange with Belarusian counterparts

CAMAGÜEY, Cuba, 20 sep (ACN) Members of the chapter of the Cuban Academy of Sciences (ACC) in the provinces of Camaguey and Ciego de Avila, which will be registered on September 21 by the International Association of Academies of Sciences during an official ceremony in Belarus, are fulfilling a tight program of scientific exchanges in that country.

Their agenda includes visits to the institutes of Chemistry of New Materials, Microbiology, Bioorganic Chemistry, Physics, and Informatics, in all cases with good chances to establish cooperation.

Also scheduled, along with delegations from Russia, Argentina, China, Mongolia, Vietnam, Armenia and other countries, are visits to cultural activities at the Great Theater of Belarus and to the Museum of the Great Patriotic War.

This ACC chapter works closely with others across Cuba and has particular alliances with hospitals and research centers and with international institutions in China, Mexico, Spain and the Dominican Republic.
