Havana, Nov 23 (ACN) Cuban Health Minister Jose Angel Portal met with his counterpart from Saudi Arabia Fahad al Jalajel to further strengthen bilateral cooperation relations in the sector between the two countries.
The meeting of the two ministers translates into the acknowledgment of the work of Cuban health workers in Saudi Arabia, according to the Cubacoopera Twitter account of the medical brigade in that country.
The Cuban health minister held a virtual exchange with Cuban health workers in that country to learn about their working experiences. He also met with local health officials on prospects for bilateral cooperation.
The Cuban government official arrived in Saudi Arabia after paying working visits in Egypt and Algeria, where he addressed possible areas for cooperation.
