HAVANA, Cuba, CAN (ACN) The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (Minsap) reported that at the end of November 19, 30 patients were admitted, 22 were suspected and 8 were confirmed active.
On the day in Cuba for COVID-19 a total of 1,348 samples were taken for surveillance, resulting positive 1. The country accumulates over 14 million samples taken and 1.1 million positive ones.
The positive case is a contact of confirmed cases, male and belongs to the age group under 20 years old.
No asymptomatic cases were reported during the day, accumulating a total of 147,532 (13.3%) of those confirmed to date.
Of the 1,111,338 patients diagnosed with the disease, 8 remain hospitalized, 8 of them with stable clinical evolution (100.0%). There have been 8,530 deaths (0 during the day), with a case fatality rate of 0.77% vs. 1.03% in the world and 1.58% in the Americas; 2 evacuated and 57 returned to their countries.
