HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 7 (ACN) The 86.7 % of the Cuban population has already completed the anti-COVID-19 vaccination program, with the national immunogens Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala.
According to the Ministry of Public Health ( MINSAP by its Spanish acronym), this percentage figure corresponds to the 9,696,217 people who received the three doses against the infectious disease.
As of January 5, 10, 464,507 people had received at least one dose, of which 9,312,247 have received a second dose and 8,956,312 a third one.
MINSAP points out that besides, 2,287,344 people have additional doses: 144,431 as part of clinical studies and 2,142,913 in the booster vaccination that is being applied to the population of selected territories and risk groups.
In all, 31, 020,410 doses of vaccines developed in the country have been administered.
