HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 30 (ACN) Cuba reported today 328 new COVID-19 cases and one death.
Up until yesterday, 1,016 people remain hospitalized, with 1 and 9 of them in critical and serious condition, respectively, according to the daily report of the Ministry of Public Health.
At the close of yesterday, December 29, 4,461 patients were still in hospital and 3,096 were suspected cases, whereas 349 were under surveillance and 1,016 were confirmed cases.
A total of 20,935 samples were taken during the day, and 328 tested positive. Cuba has taken 11,647,855 samples, and 965,571 have been confirmed as positive.
Of the 328 positive cases, 34.5% (113) were asymptomatic, making a total of 133,374 cases (13.8% of those confirmed to date).
