Cuba has administered over 30 million anti-COVID-19 doses



HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 28 (ACN) Cuba has accumulated 30, 023,092 million anti-COVID-19 doses administered with the national immunogens Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala by the end of December 26.

As reported today by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP by its Spanish acronym), 10, 397,970 people have received at least one dose of one of the Cuban vaccines; of these, 9,294,985 people have already received a second dose and 8,920,761 people have received a third one.
In its daily report, MINSAP reported that 9, 604,132 people have been fully vaccinated, which represents 85.9 % of the Cuban population.

Similarly, the health authority indicated that 1,409,376 people have booster doses, 110,535 of them as part of the Clinical Study and 1,298,841 as part of the booster vaccination being applied to the population of selected territories and at-risk groups.
It is worth mentioning that as part of the massive vaccination campaign started on July 29, 19, 573,420 doses have been administered.

As for the health intervention in risk groups and territories initiated last May, 9, 618,607 doses have been administered, as part of the intervention study, another 454,064 doses; and linked to clinical trials, some 266,466 ones.
