Havana, Dec 7 (ACN) The Cuban regulatory authority, CECMED, approved the emergency use of the Cuban vaccine Soberana Plus to immunize children over two years of age who are convalescent of COVID-19.
The information was posted on the Twitter account of the Finlay Vaccines Institute, which described it as a good news for Cuban families.
The approval is backed by the partial results of a clinical trial phase I and II with the Cuban vaccine in children and adolescents who recovered from COVID 19, which proved that the administration of a single dose guarantees safety.
