HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 5 (ACN) The Cuban health ministry reported today 40 new positive cases of SARS-CoV-2, coronavirus that causes COVID-19, for a total of 7,184 in the country.
All the new positive cases were Cubans; 36 of them were contacts of previously confirmed cases and the source of infection wasn´t still confirmed in the 4 others, while 33 of those patients were asymptomatic when tested.
551 people remain admitted in hospitals as confirmed cases, 545 of them show a stable clinical evolution, there are 2 in serious and 4 in critical conditions; Cuba totals 129 deaths (none yesterday), two evacuees and 6,502 discharges (108 yesterday).
