SANTA CLARA, Cuba, November 16 (ACN) From January 25 to February 1, 2026, and for the second consecutive year, the city of Villa Clara will host the International Jazz Plaza Festival, according to members of the organizing committee.
Víctor Rodríguez García, director of the National Center for Popular Music and president of the event, highlighted the province of Villa Clara's capacity to host the Festival, considering its good results achieved in its first experience as a sub-venue.
The 2026 Jazz Plaza edition will gather artists from 19 countries, including France, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, the United States, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and China.
Its integration into the International Alliance of Arts Festivals of the Silk Road with the support of the Chinese Embassy in Cuba will strengthen the global reach of this event that celebrates jazz as a universal language of cultural unification.
