SANTA CLARA, Cuba, Feb 26 (ACN) The National Telecenter Festival has been held in Villa Clara with important theoretical sessions, exchanges of experiences and analysis on the projections of Cuban television for the current year.
The event is attended by more than 100 delegates and about 20 guests from all the provincial telecenters in the country, as well as from national and international media such as Canal Caribe or Cubavision International.
As part of the sessions, those present shared experiences on communication management in telecenters such as Canal Habana and Telecristal, as well as the work in social networks of channels such as TV Yumuri and Tunasvision, as well as the importance of spaces for debate.
"Constant dialogue, opportunities for citizen participation and the presence of public officials in opinion programs are key issues nowadays for Cuban media, because it is a duty we have as a social commitment to our audiences," said Barbara Doval, Director of Cubavision International.
The festival also included the premiere of the third season of the series Calendario, the screening of programs created in the provincial telecenters and analyses on the fight against cultural colonization.
