HAVANA, Cuba, February 10 (ACN) In compliance with bilateral migration agreements, the United States returned to Cuba a group of 170 undocumented migrants―153 men and 17 women―in the first of these operations this year, according to the Cuban Ministry of the Interior.
The report added that three of these individuals were arrested on arrival, pending an investigation for allegedly committing crimes before leaving the country.
Cuba reaffirms its commitment to a regular, safe, and orderly migration and reiterates the danger posed by and life-threatening conditions typical of illegal departures.
