HAVANA, Cuba, January 14 (ACN) Cuban combatants wounded during the recent U.S. military aggression against Venezuela to kidnap President Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores, arrived in the island.
They were welcomed by Political Bureau members Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Army Corps General Álvaro López Miera, Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces; and Army Corps General Lázaro Alberto Álvarez Casas, Minister of the Interior, in addition to other Party, Government and army leaders.
Upon their arrival at the José Martí International Airport in Havana, the heroic combatants, who received a fraternal greeting from the Cuban people and a message of their appreciation and admiration, praised the courage and commitment of their fallen brothers.
