
HAVANA, Cuba, January 13 (ACN) The remains of the 32 combatants who died in the criminal attack against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will be received this Thursday in Havana with military and popular honors, marking the beginning of a national day of tribute that will culminate with their burial on Friday in their hometowns.
This was reported in a statement from the Revolutionary Government during the prime-time television news broadcast.

Information from the Revolutionary Government regarding the posthumous tribute to Cuban combatants who died in the line of duty in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
This Thursday, January 15, 2026, the remains of the 32 combatants who heroically died during the criminal attack perpetrated by the United States government against the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will arrive in the Homeland.
They will receive the first posthumous tribute in a military ceremony at Havana's José Martí International Airport.
Upon completion, the remains will be transported along Rancho Boyeros Avenue to the headquarters of the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces.
During this procession, a group of people, gathered on both sides of the avenue, will pay their respects to the fallen.
Starting at 10:00 a.m. on January 15, the public will be allowed access to the headquarters of the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, where the remains of our combatants will be on display.
On Friday, January 16, at 7:30 a.m., Havana residents will gather at the José Martí Anti-Imperialist Tribune for the ceremony that will begin the March of the Combatant People, reaffirming their commitment to the Homeland.
At 9:00 a.m. that same Friday, commemorative ceremonies will be held in all provincial capitals.
At 4:00 p.m., the remains will be interred in the pantheons of those who died defending their respective cities.
All municipalities across the country will hold posthumous tributes.
