
Havana, Jan 7 (ACN) Special plenary sessions of Cuba’s Communist Party Committees kicked off Wednesday in western Pinar del Rio province presided over by the first secretary of Cuba’s Communist Party and President of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel.
The meetings aim at drawing strategies favoring more effective tasks related to the defense of the country, the stability of the island’s electric system and food production, including the sugar industry, and the quality of services offered to the people.
The Cuban top Communist leader and Communist Party’s Organization Secretary Roberto Morales will lead the sessions, which will focus on the role of the party in facing the current complex scenario prevailing in the country.
