HAVANA, Cuba, November 25 (ACN) With the aim of positioning Cuban products and services in the international market, the 41st Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2025) continues today with its program of activities at the largest trade event in Cuba and the region.
Tuesday, the 8th Investment Forum is scheduled, where, as announced at the opening by Oscar Perez-Oliva Fraga, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment (MINCEX by its Spanish acronym), measures devised by the Cuban government to boost foreign investment, streamline approval processes, and open new opportunities in strategic sectors will be presented.
Likewise, the Cuba-Iran business forum and national days dedicated to various countries will take place, including Mexico and China, the latter in the context of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The presence of Commander-in-Chief of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz will also mark the occasion, as this space is dedicated, given his role as a precursor and driving force behind FIHAV, to his centennial and the ninth anniversary of his passing, as well as to the 65th anniversary of MINCEX and to the figure of Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, who recently passed away after a long and distinguished career in service to the nation.
With the participation of more than 700 companies from 52 countries, including 268 Cuban companies from different sectors and management structures, FIHAV 2025 is consolidating its position as Cuba's leading trade fair and a key platform for promoting foreign investment, diversifying partnerships, and stimulating national production, in a context complicated by the tightening of the blockade imposed by the United States government.
