The National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) will open today the 9th International Meeting on Agroecology, Sustainable Agriculture and Cooperativism.
According to the organization, the conference gathers Cuban and foreign delegates at the ANAP's Niceto Pérez García Integral Center in the province of Artemisa.
This meeting is consolidating itself as a key space to share experiences and successful practices in the production of healthy food, based on the principles of agroecology and the Cuban cooperative model.
It will also facilitate deeper discussions on the global challenges facing food security and the role of family farmers in building more just and sustainable agri-food systems.
