Havana, Nov 13 (ACN) The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, met with Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Elio Rodríguez on bilateral relations between the two nations.
The meeting took place in the sidelines of the Second World Summit on Social Development, held in the Arab State. The two sides addressed the strong ties of friendship and cooperation that unite Cuba and Qatar.
The two officials agreed to promoting "the development of bilateral relations in different spheres and coordinating positions on issues of mutual interest on the international agenda."
"This meeting took place just weeks before the 36th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both countries," underlines the communication published on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.lc
