CAMAGÜEY, Cuba, November 13 (ACN) In an effort to improve the country’s power supply system, the branch of the Empresa de Grupos Electrógenos y Servicios Eléctricos (GEYSEL) in the province of Camagüey undertakes maintenance and repair works thanks to the parts and components donated by the People's Republic of China to Cuba.
Carlos Rubio Limonta, GEYSEL’s director in the province, said that the donation to his enterprise included a generator, radiators, electric fans, and a battery.
The first shipment from China arrived in Cuba in December 2024, and the province of Camagüey received essential equipment to revitalize its power production and feed the national grid.
