HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 4 (ACN) The Ibero-American Congress for Exchange and Updating in Science and Technology Management (Ibergecyt 2025) and the Havana Innovation Fair will begin today at the capital's Convention Palace to foster the relationship between scientific knowledge and society.
According to the Organizing Committee, these events aim to showcase the results achieved by different scientific groups and promote alliances that allow solving national territory problems through innovation.
Ibergecyt 2025 will be attended by entrepreneurs, government representatives, students, and national and foreign academics, who will participate in conferences, workshops, panels, and research presentations.
The thematic axes will revolve around digital transformation, local development, and social responsibility.
According to the website of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, the Havana Innovation Fair will be a space for connecting universities and technological centers with companies, cooperatives, and non-state management forms, through the exhibition of products and development projects.
This meeting will also award the 2025 Provincial Innovation Prizes and recognize outstanding members of the National Association of Innovators and Rationalizers.
Both events will run through November 7.
