HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 9 (ACN) Miguel Diaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and President of the Republic, arrived in the country after his official tour of Vietnam, China, and Laos, leading a high-level delegation.
At Jose Marti International Airport in Havana, the head of state was received by Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the PCC Central Committee, and by Vice President Salvador Valdes Mesa.
On X, Diaz-Canel thanked the three recently visited nations for their affection, solidarity, and hospitality."We will continue working to implement everything agreed upon for the well-being of our nations. Always count on Cuba," concluded the president, who last week held meetings with the highest authorities of Vietnam, China, and Laos as part of an agenda aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.
Cuban delegation also included Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla; the Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR), Army Corps General Alvaro Lopez Miera; and Emilio Lozada Garcia, a member of the PCC Central Committee and head of its International Relations Department.
Ministers of Foreign Trade and Investment, Oscar Perez-Oliva Fraga; the Minister of Agriculture, Ydael Perez Brito; the President of the Biocubafarma Business Group, Mayda Mauri Perez; and other officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also travelled to Asia.
