SANTA CLARA, Cuba, August 22 (ACN) Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and president of the country, began a working visit to Santa Clara today, where he will speak with workers and officials from economic and social entities.
The day began with the president's arrival in the Electric Fuse and Disconnector Factory Base Business Unit.
During the day, he is expected to visit the recently opened Social Protection Center and the farm of a prominent producer in the province of Villa Clara.
This visit is part of the work system that fosters direct exchange with the productive and service sectors throughout the country.
