The issue brings together more than 20 articles by authors from both countries focusing on the concept of a community of a shared future for humanity.
Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, Cuban deputy foreign minister, participated in the presentation held during last week.
The publication constitutes relevant material for better understanding China's international projection toward Cuba and Latin America, and the content allows for the generation of new proposals to strengthen the construction of a community of a shared future, she stated.
PhD. in Science Ruvislei Gonzalez Saez, researcher and Professor at CIPI, explained that the issue contains different theoretical analyses on China's international projection and its interaction with global actors.
The articles cover topics such as culture, economics, biopharmaceutical collaboration, media, and the characteristics of bilateral relations.
Hua Xin, Chinese ambassador to Cuba, indicated that the idea of a community with a shared future aims to build a world with lasting peace, universal security, and common prosperity.
The ambassador defined the issue as a "theoretical crystallization of the special friendship between China and Cuba."
The publication was produced in partnership with Ruth Casa Editorial to ensure greater reach for the special issue, and the articles were written by academics, diplomats, and International Relations students from both countries.
The journal reflects bilateral ties in the context of the upcoming 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
