HAVANA, Cuba, August 1 (ACN) Hua Xin, Asian nation's ambassador to Cuba, described the launch of the Cuadernos de Nuestra America (Notebooks of Our America) magazine, a special edition commemorating 65 years of bilateral relations, as a demonstration of the theoretical crystallization of the special friendship between China and Cuba.
The 14th issue of the publication was unveiled in Havana in presence of Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, Cuban deputy foreign minister ; Jose Ramon Cabañas Rodriguez, director of the Center for International Policy Research (CIPI); executives of the Cuban Friendship Institute; other officials from the Foreign Ministry; and the accredited press.
Cuadernos de Nuestra America, dedicated to the Asian country, has as its main theme the community of shared future for humanity, the diplomat explained.
It compiles research results from more than 20 academics from both countries and constitutes an important practice of systematic research in Latin America and the Caribbean on that concept, proposed by President Xi Jinping on the construction of a shared community, he confirmed.
As a universal guide, it practices the common values of all humanity; It is a fundamental support that promotes the construction of a new type of international relations; and as a strategic guide, it implements the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative, and the Global Civilization Initiative; and has as a practical platform the joint construction of the high-quality Belt and Road Initiative, Hua Xin explained.
For her part, Vidal Ferreiro celebrated the print release of the CIPI magazine, with writing, cover design, and layout by Ruth Editorial House. It features more pages than usual and showcases valuable articles and research that contribute to knowledge and salutes the 65 years of excellent relations between Cuba and China.
