HAVANA, Cuba, July 23 (ACN) Cuba’s Ministry of Higher Education (MES) and its institutions celebrated Wednesday their 49th anniversary.
The day was dedicated to recognizing the excellent work of the country’s universities and to honoring outstanding faculty members and researchers who won the 2024 Academy of Sciences Award for their results in and commitment to education.
The message posted by the MES on social networks also reasserts the role that Cuban universities play as spaces for collective construction, dedicated knowledge, and national scientific development.
