Havana, July 23 (ACN) A Cuban delegation is participating at the 15th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP15) of the Convention on Wetlands (RAMSAR), the Cuban Science, Technology and the Environment Ministry reported on X.
The Cuban delegation is led by deputy minister of Science, Technology and the Environment Adianez Taboada. The forum gathers government officials, international experts who are addressing the future of wetlands, which are key ecosystems for biodiversity and climate resistance.
COP 15 is also addressing the restoration of marine ecosystems, the strengthening of environmental governance and the integration of youths in the conservation of wetlands.
