HAVANA, Cuba, July 4 (ACN) Amid the complex situation facing the country, the highest governing body of the Cuban Communist Party will hold its 10th Plenary Session Friday and Saturday.
It will analyze vital issues of the Cuban economy and society that directly impact the population.
According to the meeting published in the Granma newspaper, among the most important issues scheduled for these dates are the implementation of the Government Program to correct distortions and boost the economy and the plan to stabilize the National Electric Power System.
Likewise, the evaluation of the cadre policy strategy, approved at the political organization's 8th Congress, and the proposed commemorative program for the centennial of the birth of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz are part of the meeting's agenda.
At the meeting, according to the aforementioned source, the Political Bureau is expected to report on its work and the main decisions taken during this phase, as well as the approval of the call for the 9th Party Congress.
