Global Environment Conference underway in Havana

Havana, July 1 (ACN) The 15th International Conference on the Environment and Development opened doors Tuesday till July 5th in Havana with the attendance of experts, authorities, youths, women leaders and representatives of the Cuban community abroad involved in actions related to environmental management.

Keynote lectures by Cuban environment officials, a panel of female representatives of the Cuban Women’s Federation and local governments are high on the event’s agenda. A youth workshop on the environment and a meeting with Cubans residing abroad are also part of the forum.
