Havana, July 1 (ACN) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez extended his gratefulness to the people and government of Venezuela for their rejection of the new US Presidential Memorandum strengthening the US economic blockade of the island nation.
Rodriguez wrote on X that the Presidential Memorandum is a measure tightening the US blockade and he went on to stress the heroic solidarity of the Venezuelan people towards their Cuban sisters and brothers. “We know that we can count on Venezuela’s solidarity and strong international support,” Rodriguez wrote.
The Venezuelan government strongly rejected the new US Presidential Memorandum and described the measure as inhumane, anachronistic and a violation of International Law.
