HAVANA, Cuba, June 25 (ACN) The 15th International Festival “Varadero Gourmet” will be held on September 11 to 13 at the beach resort of Varadero, in the province of Matanzas.
According to Lázaro Darién Casabella Hernández, chair of the Organizing Committee, "Flavors without borders: The magic of fusion cuisine with a Cuban soul" will be the theme of the event, intended to promote the academic development of professionals based on the fusion of foreign culinary heritage and Cuban gastronomy and to contribute to the exchange of experiences and knowledge between entrepreneurs and to the establishment of alliances between tourism suppliers and exhibitors for the benefit of the quality and sustainability of their service.
This year, “Varadero Gourmet” features the 1st International Workshop on Franchises, to be focused on "Culture, History, and Identity: The Competitive Advantage of Cuban Tourism Franchises", as well as the presentations "Fusion Cuisine between Cuba and Latin America", "Cocktails 4.0: Creativity and Technology in the Drinking Experience", "Creativity and Avant-garde in Cuban Gastronomy", and "Gastronomic Regions and Cuba's Gastronomic Route".
