HAVANA, Cuba, June 25 (ACN) Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, Cuban Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, reiterated the solidarity of the Cuban people and government with Iran following the attacks launched by Israeli and U.S. governments, an action she described as highly dangerous to international peace and security.
On Wednesday, Ms. Rodríguez Camejo met with Mr. Zabihollah Naderi, Iranian ambassador-designate to Cuba, who submitted his Copies of Style and to whom she reasserted the importance of maintaining their high-level political dialogue and efforts to keep strengthening bilateral relations.
On Thursday, June 19, the Cuban declared to be deeply concerned about the escalation of Israel's war against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the threat of a direct U.S. aggression bound to trigger a nuclear conflict or cause radioactive leaks with dire and devastating consequences for humanity.
In its statement, Cuba expressed its full solidarity with Iran and recalled the harmful outcome of previous military interventions in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya that left a trail of chaos, violence, and insecurity in those countries and their surrounding regions.
