Havana, June 25 (ACN) The panel "Knowledge Management for Policy Design: The Experience of the Social Policy Network of the University of Havana" will open the second and final day of the symposium “Cuba Trabaja” [Cuba Works] in this city.
Attended by more than 240 delegates, the event organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MTSS)―themed For decent jobs and sustainable social development―will also feature a workshop on Prevention and Social Work, the panels "Good Practices of Social Inclusion" and "Social Prevention, Adolescence and Youth: Articulation of Experiences with Policies, Projects, and Communities", and the meeting "Generation of Local Jobs Based on Sustainable Regional Development", as well as discussions on human capital training and development and strategies to create and promote local jobs, among other events.
Likewise, the delegates to this conference organized jointly by the Cuban Social and Labor Observatory and the Center for Labor Studies will be updated about the current situation of employment in the country and the progress of ongoing public and social policies.
