HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 23 (ACN) Cuban foreign minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla criticized today the imperialist doctrine encouraged by the United States government, which seeks to assert "peace through force."
On X, Cuban diplomat asserted that Washington is trying to impose terror, arms buildup, and global destabilization as a means to keep its hegemonic collapse.
This doctrine, he said, based on the notion that those who have force are right.
In a statement following the recent US bombings on the Iranian nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, Cuban foreign ministry affirmed that the White House, with its irresponsible actions, is recklessly hijacking the search for regional peace and dragging humanity into a crisis of incalculable consequences.
The foreign ministry warned that, by attacking nuclear facilities under the International Atomic Energy Agency safeguards last Saturday, the United States also seriously violated the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
Through the statement, Cuba called on the United Nations General Assembly and Security Council to exercise their primary responsibility to maintain international peace and security.
