Cuba hosts 20th edition of the ExpoCaribe 2025 International Fair

SANTIAGO DE CUBA, Cuba, Jun 23 (ACN) With more than 1,800 exhibitors, the 20th edition of the ExpoCaribe 2025 International Fair, the country's second-largest trade fair, kicks off today at the Heredia Cultural Complex in this eastern city.

The event, extended until next Friday, will begin with the traditional visit of the heads of delegations to the Santa Ifigenia Cemetery to pay tribute to the nation's founding fathers.

After the opening ceremony, which will feature provincial, national, and regional authorities, a commemorative postal issue will take place with images of the indomitable city, led by the management of the Correos de Cuba Business Group, along with the opening of the exhibition area and cultural presentations.

Special moments of the fair's first day will include the meeting between the Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment and business leaders based in the eastern region, discussing the country's updated policy, and the welcome offered by the Government of Santiago de Cuba in the Hall of Mirrors.

Expocaribe will bring together business leaders from 35 countries, more than 300 entities, including 46 from other nations such as the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, as well as 51 micro, small, and medium-sized businesses from across the country and six local development projects.

Despite global economic challenges, the event serves as a platform for highlighting products, services, and opportunities in key sectors such as food production, tourism, transportation, and the energy mix.

The 20th ExpoCaribe 2025 International Fair is dedicated to the 72nd anniversary of the attack on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes barracks and the 510th anniversary of the founding of the town of Santiago de Cuba.
