HAVANA, Cuba, June 17 (ACN) The 2025 National Conference of the Union of Cuban IT Technicians (UIC) opened its doors in this city.
In her opening remarks, Maria Esther Alfonso Suárez, first vice president of the UIC, said that the event is intended to promote technological development and review the progress made in the last two years based on the goals laid down at the National Assembly of the organization.
With training, innovation, project management, and internal operation as the main topics for discussion, the conference was organized in the middle of an international situation marked by the development of the ICTs in terms of innovation and the emergence of artificial intelligence.
Ms. Alfonso also pointed out that the participants will address the opportunities available in the country regarding training, inclusion, and the widespread use of digital tools.
