Cuban pioneer students send message of solidarity to Palestinian children

HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 15 (ACN) In a gesture of solidarity and commitment to peace, Cuban pioneer students sent a message of support to the children of Palestine who are going through the difficult situation caused by the conflict in their country.

The letter underscored the pain that the Cuban children feel to see their Palestinian equals deprived of their right to go to school, play games and have peace.

“It hurts when we think about everything you are suffering, but we want you to know that you are not alone,” they pointed out in a text that praised the courage of the Palestinian children, comparing them to fairy tale heroes, and reasserted that the Cuban pioneer students are committed to Palestinian cause.

Likewise, the statement denounces the Israeli aggression and the role of the U.S. Government and endorses the demand for the recognition of the Palestinian State. “We will not be silent until justice is achieved,” the pioneer students wrote.

Their message finished with a call for peace and the hope that the Palestinian children can regain their childhood, return to their schools, and live without fear. "We may not be able to stop the bullets, but we can unite to say enough! We children deserve peace!”
