Havana International Fair to be held in late November

HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 4 (ACN) Oscar Perez-Oliva Fraga, Cuba's Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, announced that the 41st Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2025) will take place on November 24 to 29 at the ExpoCuba fairgrounds.

The official explained to members of the foreign diplomatic corps, the media and domestic institutions that the organizers decided to hold the 2025 event on that date because the danger posed by the hurricane season will have diminished by then.

He added that the companies that participated in FIHAV 2024―interrupted by Hurricane Rafael―and come again this year will enjoy a 30% discount on the expenses.

Mr. Perez-Oliva also remarked that the Fair, deemed a major space for the establishment and promotion of business deals in Latin America and the Caribbean, will once again gather businesspeople, official delegations, chambers of commerce, and trade and investment promotion agencies, as well as guests from various countries.

FIHAV 2025 will feature attractions such as a new edition of the Investment Forum, introductions of products, theme fairs, specialized conferences, and the updated presentation of the Cuban Portfolio of business opportunities with foreign capital, focused on economic development projects.

Likewise, the participants will learn about the Cuban Government Program to correct distortions and boost the economy and as is traditional, national days will be held to pay tribute to the participating countries.

A total of 21 countries have already registered for FIHAV 2025, a fact revealing of the interest and prestige of this event.
