Havana hosts as of today, International Design Congress

HAVANA, Cuba, May 27 (ACN) The 12th International Design Congress, FORMA 2025, will kick off today at Havana's Convention Center under the slogan “Design and Intelligences”.

This great event, organized by the Higher Institute of Design, will encourage debate among academics, designers and entrepreneurs from 10 countries through 130 presentations, in addition to panels, round tables, poster presentations and an associated exhibition.

According to the event's call, attendees will reflect on the role played by the development of intelligences in training processes and professional practice in order to preserve the essence of this creative exercise.

According to the scientific program, the “ 12th Meeting for the Training of Design, Communication and Arts Professionals”, “9th Design and Communication Meeting”, “5th International Symposium on Research and Postgraduate Studies in Design”, “5th International Symposium on Research and Postgraduate Studies in Design”, as well as the “7th International Forum on Diversity and Sustainable Development” will be held.

In addition to the work commissions, Forma 2025 will include exhibitions, signing of collaboration agreements and presentations of social impact projects, such as the “ Cartelon” program, the “V for Venduta” initiative, and design strategies of international brands such as Havana Club International and Melia International.
The meeting is part of the International Scientific Convention of the University of Havana "SaberUH 2025", within the celebrations for the 298th anniversary of this prestigious institution.
