Cuba’s Meliá Internacional hotel is committed to a healthy, clean and safe tourism

VARADERO, Cuba, Apr 16 (ACN) Amado Acosta, deputy general manager of the Meliá Internacional Varadero hotel, the current occupancy rate (over 80%) reveals that the facility boasts credibility since it opened its doors in 2019.

One of the few hotels in the country that remained open during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Meliá Internacional is still in great demand despite the current economic crisis and the constant smear campaigns targeted on Cuban tourism management.

“The professionalism, kindness and gentleness of our highly qualified staff and their commitment to a clean and safe service do great credit to our hotel”, Mr. Acosta remarked. “an emblematic facility known all over the world that welcomes repeat guests every month, and we know that our enemies strive to discredit our service and some people come to try and distort everything here based on the real problems we have, but we explain what happens, and so far we are pleased with our results”.

Owned by the Gran Caribe group and operated by the Meliá Hotels International chain, the facility also stands out for its environmental management work, marked by eco-friendly practices such as waste management and energy efficiency.
