HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 15 (ACN) The Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) will welcome nearly 700 friends from over 20 nations who will celebrate International Workers' Day in Cuba, demonstrating solidarity amid the intensified imperial blockade against the island.

In a statement, ICAP highlighted the participation of the international "Primero de Mayo" brigade, the Puerto Rican Juan Rius Rivera brigade, and more than 10 other solidarity groups.

The "Primero de Mayo" brigade will include over 300 activists from the United States (more than 100), Africa (60), Europe (80), Latin America (50), as well as campaigners from Canada and Australia.

In addition to joining the massive rally at Revolution Square, the visitors will attend an International Solidarity Meeting with Cuba at the Convention Palace and take part in exchange programs and visits across several provinces.
