HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 14 (ACN) Roberto Morales Ojeda, member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, evoked the legacy of revolutionary worker Fe del Valle, who lost her life on April 13, 1961.
Morales Ojeda, on X, wrote:
"Heartfelt evocation, today and every day, to Fe del Valle, victim of an atrocious terrorist act on the eve of the mercenary invasion by Girón. Our #WomenInRevolution are inspired by her example. #NoToTerrorism
Fe del Valle Ramos (1917-1961) was a Cuban militia woman and worker, the only fatal victim of the fire at El Encanto, one of the largest department stores in the Caribbean nation at the time.
