Havana, April 3 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel praised the International Transport and Logistics Fair held this week in Havana given the challenges facing the nation to improve public and cargo transportation.
After touring the fair and talking to Cuban and foreign exhibitors, Diaz-Canel told reporters that the fair allows learning about current world trends in the transport field and also favors the signing of business deals.
The President said that this fair in particular is deploying a lot about electric mobility, something that Cuba wants to enhance because it has to do with the island’s goal towards the country’s transition to clean energy.
Miguel Diaz-Canel also presided over the fair closing ceremony on Thursday evening.
