HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 7 (ACN) Miguel Diaz-Canel, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and president of the country began today a tour of the province of Artemisa, in western Cuba, in the municipality of Guanajay.
The Presidency informs on X that Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the PCC, is accompanying the head of state.
The territory, located about 30 kilometers from the Cuban capital, is characterized by being agricultural-industrial.
In the Primero de Enero pole, producer Alexander Escalona, from the Eduardo Panizo cooperative, explained to the president the results of the planting of banana, onion, fruit, garlic and tomato crops.
Diaz-Canel was interested in the payment to producers by the municipality's collection company, which is currently in delays.
The President insisted that the quickest solution must be found for this matter.
