Havana, March 6 (ACN) The Cuban National Statistics and Information Office (ONEI) is preparing for a people and housing census, though no dates have thus far been announced for the process.
The director of the Center for Population and Development Studies (CEPDE), Diego Gonzalez, said that the census was to be undertaken in 2022, but the COVID-19 pandemic did not allow its implementation.
The national census, which is carried out every ten years here, offers crucial data about the nation and contribute to improvement of the country’s policies benefitting all Cuban citizens.
